Joint hands to mitigate vulnerability to children

On the morning of June 29, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated with the Binh Duong provincial Youth Union to organize the 9th Binh Duong Children's Forum in 2023 with the theme of "Joining hands to reduce child harm". Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee attended the event with leaders of departments, branches, functional agencies of the province and more than 180 children representing 9 districts, towns and cities in the province.

Speaking at the opening of the forum, Nguyen Loc Ha shared that children are the preschool, the future of the country. Joining hands to protect children is very necessary, so all levels and sectors need to implement many policies, programs and solutions to improve the effectiveness of children's work in the province, associated with the theme of the year 2023, which is “Joining hands to reduce harm to children”.

The Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee was pleased to commend and encourage the children who had made a lot of efforts in the past school year, as well as participated in the Youth Union and Children Pioneer movements to have a way to protect themselves and avoid traps in the society. At the forum, they raised many issues that happened recently, such as the situation of students fighting outside the schools, a lot of bad and malicious information appearing on social networks, many children form groups on social networks isolate and divide friends, drowning of children, vaping in many schools. Leaders of departments and branches have analyzed and answered for the children to grasp the necessary knowledge and skills; at the same time, orient them to recognize bad and toxic temptations outside of society to prevent. Localities in the province, departments and branches will also have solutions, continue to promote propaganda, and coordinate with schools and families to take better care of the children in the coming time.
