Trainees are working in a course joint by Junior Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry and Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province Thus, the college has joint up with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Department of Veterinary to offer professional in-service husbandry technique course as a part of a project to improve veterinary competence of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province from 2011 to 2015.The course opened in November 2013 shall last for 2.5 years with 4 day per week learning of Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.The course offers literacy subjects of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Vietnamese Literature, etc. and specialized subjects of animal surgery, influenzas on animals, artificial fertilization, diseases of cats, dogs, domestic animals, husbandry environment hygiene, lab methods, animal nutrition, etc.For the meaning of the joint program, Mrs. Ha Thi Thanh Lao, Head of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Department of Veterinary, said that the 45-trainee course would be free of charge and supported by budget of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Provincial budget. For trainees of junior high school, more literacy subjects should be offered along with vocational training.Besides, non-standard trainees shall also be offered with certificates proving profession practice.Extension of training channels by cooperating with other provinces has been a chosen and maintained pathway of Binh Duong Junior Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry in years including aquaculture training course in Ca Mau, and planting in Dak Nong among others.Mr. Huynh Kim Ngan, President of Binh Duong Junior Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry said: “The joint program model shall be theory and practice combined.
