Working people in rural area of Tan Uyen District is offered with vocational training courses Based on such workshop, Binh Duong Province has built up projects of “vocational training reforms and development” and “vocational training for rural working people” to meet demands of labor development with State’s pivotal selection from 2011 to 2015 and orientation to 2020 under Decision No. 1466/QD-BLDTBXH dated October 22, 2012 of Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.Under statistic data, Binh Duong Province has 9 vocational schools chosen as national standard and above. For the year, VND 15 billion has been projected to “vocational training reforms and development” and VND 1 billion each is to be allocated to Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College, Vietnam-Korea Vocational Junior College, Tan Uyen Vocational School, Di An Vocational School, and Binh Duong Vocational School.Up to date, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee has approved purchase plan for Tan Uyen Vocational School, Di An Vocational School, and Binh Duong Vocational School.Accordingly, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has coordinated to support working people in rural areas in 6 job groups of rubber tapping with 461 trainees, non-agricultural job group of catering, computer repairs, fork-lifter driving, with 267 trainees. It is expected that the 6 job groups shall eye 1,415 trainees in the preparation of trainers’ qualification. Currently, 24 out of 29 trainers have been standardized with vocational training.So as to continue developing vocational training to meet demands of enterprises and plan up vocational training network from 2009 to 2020, Binh Duong Province targets for 40,953 trainees in 2014.To achieve such targets, Binh Duong Province has proposed some measures including preference of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in vocational training and job creation for working people in the province while promoting propaganda and consultancy, especially to working people in rural areas.The significant factor promoting socialization of vocational training is investment into facilities and quality training to connect enterprises to labor market.Reported by M.H – Translated by Vi Bao
