Noticeably, Khai Hoan JSC over time organized a lot of entertainment programs for its workers. The karaoke contest named “Khai Hoan Singing Star” was one of the company’s impressive programs, absorbing the participation of many workers in and out of the company.
The company also built a tenement house with 125 rooms, supplying accommodations for more than 450 workers; built an entertainment area for workers’ offspring and a bodybuilding room for male workers; built a library with more than 1,000 book titles and 3,000 various VCDs; built a computer room for workers and opened 6 classes on computer for them.
Le Van Lan, a worker of the company said: “We feel very joyful when the company’s directorate has created all favorable conditions for us to keep our mind on work. The company has given each worker support of 50% of the coach ticket price to return home for Tet…”.
In addition to paying appropriate salaries, bonuses; organizing periodic medical check-ups; creating healthy playgrounds for workers…, the company’s directorate over time spent more time on listening and sharing workers’ aspirations. The company also teamed up with the district’s Youth Union to make the law dissemination among workers; especially donated over 70 sets of 21-inch LG TV for workers who are living in the tenement house in May 2010.
It is expected that Khai Hoan JSC will build another factories, recruit more workers while opening additional tenement houses, entertainment areas and a kindergarten for workers’ offspring. Nguyen Phuoc Hiep, Chairman of Khai Hoan JSC’s Trade Union said that the company’s directorate has mapped out many substantial activities and policies for workers, especially those taking care of workers’ lives on the upcoming Tet festival.
With achievements in taking care of workers’ lives, Khai Hoan JSC was awarded the certificates of merit of the provincial People’s Committee and Ben Cat district’s Labor Union in 2010. The company’s Youth Union also received the title of “strong youth union” from Ben Cat district’s Youth Union.
