Over the past years, Kinh Oanh Foundation actively accompanied social charity activities nationwide. The foundation has also just given VND1billion for Vietnam Red Cross Society to assist people hit by natural disasters in the northern mountainous provinces.
Noticeably, Kim Oanh Foundation last July cooperated with provincial Red Cross Society to hand over 10 houses worth VND500million to needy families in Phu Giao, Dau Tieng districts and TDM city; offer 3 houses of compassion and 1 saving book worth VND10million to needy people in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre; support VND2billion for the “Lighting dreams” program 2017 organized by the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund…
The foundation is expected to organize a program named “Vi mam xanh tuong lai” (For green sprouts of the future) in order to award 50 scholarships to the offspring of Kim Oanh Real Estate Joint Stock Company’s workers with a total value of VND62million on August 26 ahead.
Along with supporting VND1billion for Vietnam Red Cross Society to provide aid relief for victims of natural disasters, Kim Oanh Foundation also donated 12 buffaloes worth VND350million, 100 scholarships worth VND130million; funded VND150million for construction of the way to the house of hero Vu A Dinh and VND170million for construction of Ta Ma preschool in the northern mountainous province of Dien Bien. Thus, the foundation spent VND1.8billion on the social charity program.
Since its inception on May 2016, Kim Oanh Foundation has spent more than VND33.5billion on social charity activities. The figure has brought total money for social charity activities of the group since being established to VND44.68billion.
Dang Thi Kim Oanh, General Director of Kim Oanh Real Estate Joint Stock Company said: “In the next years, Kim Oanh Foundation will continue accompanying agencies and sectors in social charity activities. We will further organize more social charity activities with large scale towards many different targeted people, especially award scholarships to poor pupils, build gratitude and charity houses, offer help to Agent Orange/Dioxin victims, take care of the lives of sea and island soldiers…”.
