The 18th labor transaction floor, which was held on March 14 at provincial Job Center, absorbed the participation of 53 businesses with the recruitment demand reaching 9,023 unskilled laborers and 1,066 skilled ones. There were also 232 businesses registering to recruit 13,000 laborers via website: www.vieclambinhduong.vn. As of 15am of the same day, some 3,200 laborers visited the website to learn about job information and register to seek jobs
Shortage of unskilled laborers
In 2010, many businesses in southern Binh Duong province have achieved recovery in their trading and production activities and lured orders from their partners. They, therefore, have the great demand of laborers, especially unskilled ones.
As surveyed, electronics-electricity, woodwork, food, footwear…are industries in need of laborers.
Incentive policies to absorb laborers
In recent time, province-based businesses have made a lot of incentive policies to lure more laborers at their trading and production demand.
Provincial Job Center has also continued to realize the linkage with other localities to supply laborers for businesses. Along with salary policies as stipulated, some businesses herein have provided allowances for their laborers to help them stabilize their lives in a bid to keep them.
Phan Thanh Son, director of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said that in addition the above things, the province will speed up vocational training at businesses’ demand while requiring businesses to improve the quality of meals for laborers and seriously execute the adjustment of minimum wage and other support policies for them…
