Provincial Trade Unions at all levels have paid more attention to laborers’ working conditions, especially promoted a “green-clean-nice movement, ensuring labor safety and hygiene” in production. The movement has significantly contributed to improving working conditions for laborers, aiming to minimize labor accidents and occupational diseases.
Being proactive to set up safe methods
With the action motto of “Taking care of laborers”, since early this year, provincial Trade Unions at all levels have been proactive to set up the contents of the movement and organize registration to realize them.

Quach To Nga, President of A My Gia Joint Stock Company in Tan Uyen town said that since early this year, the company’s Trade Union has not only mapped out a plan to deploy the movement, but also bent on disseminating and overseeing the implementation of policies on labor protection for staff.
Whilst, International Garment Private Enterprise in Ben Cat town has well realized all contents of its plan on labor protection. Vo Thi Hoang Phi, President of the enterprise’s Trade Union said that the Trade Union has set up a plan on labor protection with 5 main contents towards absolute safety for laborers. Especially, the Trade Union is successful when bringing the content of food safety and hygiene into realization in the mass labor deal. Therefore, laborers herein are provided with individual protective equipment, allowances for heavy and harmful jobs and periodic medical examination.
Attaching special importance to quality
Possibly affirming, provincial Trade Unions at all levels, employers and employees have paid attention to carrying out labor safety and hygiene towards sustainable development.
Provincial Labor Union have joined hands with functional agencies to make efforts in propagandizing and guiding trade union locals to team up with enterprises to establish labor protective councils and labor safety-hygiene networks when having sufficient conditions right from the beginning of the year. The whole province has to date had a total of 1,120 labor protective councils and 1,680 trade union locals with 8,400 labor safety-hygiene networks, mainly in State-run enterprises and large-scale FDI ones.
Bui Thanh Nhan, President of provincial Labor Union said that over the past time, provincial Trade Unions at all levels, employers and employees paid attention to realizing the movement. One of the new features of the movement was to be deployed in association with building up cultural units. In enterprises, it was implemented via improving the quality of labor protection, setting up methods to ensure labor safety and hygiene; establishing squads on labor safety and hygiene, being protective to make inspection, monitoring over labor safety and hygiene, proposing measures to improve working conditions for laborers, minimizing labor accidents and occupational diseases…
