At the meeting, leaders of the Socio-Culture Committee and relevant agencies and mass bodies heard reports on laborers’ life. Accordingly, many ideas said that laborers’ material and spiritual life at local boarding house areas has yet to be improved and remains shortcomings of accommodation, entertainment area, pre-school and so on.
Concluding the meeting, Nguyen Minh Giao, head of the Socio-Culture Committee pledged to submit the participating leaders’ ideas to the provincial People’s Council and highly valued boarding house proprietors’ self-awareness on building lodging houses in conformity with standards.
In addition, he asked People’s Committee at all levels to pay more attention to laborers’ spiritual and material life in a bid to help them feel secure in their work.
