Last part: Human training quality cause to be improved

Education in BinhDuongProvince saw various highlights in the stage of genuine reforms and emergence. The teachers and students of schools proved the positive transformation in terms of awareness, training, ethics, and lifestyle during their improvement of qualifications. Through their efforts, education quality has been improved for the cause of human training.

Unified agreement

Before hand, Binh Duong Province has always fulfilled the education universalization targets earlier than the schedule of central government. The universalization for preschool children at 5 and elementary, junior high, and senior high students has been up to the planned targets.

Binh Duong Province has faced tremendous challeges and drawbacks during the implementation of the project of preschool universalization for children at 5 from 2010 to 2015 due to high physical demographic growth of children of factory workers and immigrants. However, the Binh Duong Provincial Department of Education and Training (DOET) has determined to facilitate schooling for all children at 5.

In 2013, Ministry of Education and Traininng (MOET) has approved the criteria qualification of Binh Duong Province regarding the preschool universalization for children at 5.

The achievements have been highly appreciated and attributed to efforts of all-level Party committees and authorities making use of all social resources.

Determination and actions

Under evaluation of Binh Duong Provincial DOET, the movements of “learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”, “each teacher as a model of ethics, self-learning, and creativity”, “saying no to cheating in testing and achievement disease in education”, and so on have been strictly carried out at all levels. At schools, the implementation of the movement: “building up friendly schools and active students” has widely broadcast.

Through teaching profession groups and blocks, the movements outreached to every individual teachers who would eventually contribute to the plans and commitments of non-stop training.

Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW dated November 04, 2013 of the 8^th Congress of the 11^th tenure Central Committee of CPV on “basic and thorough reforms of education to meet the demands of industrialization and modernization in the conditions of socialism-oriented market economy and global integration” was firstly implemented in 2013-2014 school year.

On such basis, Binh Duong Provincial DOET continued with strong reforms to thoroughly and sustainably improve education quality.

“The implemention of activities and movements have transformed mottos into actions to put teaching and learning into order, promoting teaching creativity while remedying drawbacks of the sector for the sake of learning and teaching quality improvement,” asserted Mr. Tran Hieu as Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial DOET.

Affirmed quality

Quality improvement is one of the most appreciated achievements of Binh Duong Provincial DOET. Under the eyes of many managing officers and teachers, this year’s high school graduation contest proved the genuine value of learning and teaching activities. The results were thanks to strict implementation of movements and DOET programs, resolving the question of “genuine learning and testing” that the public have been asking for elaboration.

“We are not surprised by the results of recent high school graduation contest as for years, we have keep the pace. To earn the achievements we have made plenty preparation and investment into all grades not just grade 12 alone,” said Mr. Duong The Phuong as Director of Binh Duong Provincial DOET.

In 2013-2014 school year, the province has paid out over VND 1,000 billion (30% of the whole province capital construction) to build schools and purchase new equipment. For the time to come, the province shall take more care for the teaching staffs while accelerating facility construction and enhancing inspection as well as supporting private education entities with stronger socialization of education at all levels.
