At the ceremony, provincial Traffic Safety Board launched an action program implementing the campaign of "Traffic culture with waterway security" in the province in period 2016-2020. Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Ba Luan, Director of provincial Department of Transport, Deputy Head of Traffic Safety Board, proposed that provincial management agencies, localities having inland waterways heighten sense of responsibility, strengthen management, inspection, monitoring the implementation of traffic safety measures at cargo terminals, port, visitors crossing river, sightseeing cruises...
On this occasion, Provincial Traffic Safety Board offered nearly 600 lifesaving tools to 18 river ports in the province in order to ensure waterway traffic safety.
