(JCI Vietnam), on October 13, held its 2013 congress at Riverside Palace

The congress elected one chairman, three vice-chairpersons and three directors who are in charge of training, trade and communications. Le Nguyen Hong Phuong, Vice-Chairman of Binh Duong Young Entrepreneurs Association, CEO of BIT Joint Stock Company was nominated into JCI Vietnam 2014’s executive board as Vice-Chairman who is in charge of JCI Vietnam in the southeastern region.
It is known that JCI Vietnam last year implemented two projects that received enthusiastic response from the community, including the project of “Cycling into future” with the goal of donating 1,000 bicycles to poor pupils by 2015. So far, 397 bicycles have been presented to poor pupils in Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Kien Giang, Soc Trang, Tien Giang, Dac Nong together with 20 wheelchair given for those in Kien Giang. Other project is “Making dreams come true” with the goal of awarding 1,000 scholarships to pupils till 2015. Till now, 300 scholarships of the project have been awarded to pupils across the country.
JCI Vietnam also built a library in Cam Ranh city’s Khanh Son district in the central province of Khanh Hoa. Along with social activities, JCI Vietnam also attached special importance to international trade activities, including receiving international delegations, participating in trade activities with Japan, Brazil, Malaysia, India, Srilanka, South Korea…
Currently, JCI Vietnam prepares Vietnam’s junior leaders for the 2013 World Junior Entrepreneurs Forum to be held in Brazil in November ahead.
