On the morning of May 9, 2025, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council of Ben Cat City, and representatives from relevant offices visited places of worship in the city to celebrate Buddha's birthday.



Accordingly, the delegation visited Long Chau Pagoda, Hung My Tu Assembly Hall (My Phuoc ward); Sung Hung Pagoda, Phap Son Pagoda, Phat An Pagoda (Chanh Phu Hoa ward) and Huong Nghiem Pagoda (Hoa Loi ward). During her visits, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Loan, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of the City People's Council, praised the important role of monks, nuns, and Buddhists in fostering national unity. She highlighted their contributions to encouraging Buddhists and the general public to uphold the nation's commendable moral traditions, contributing to developing the positive image of the people of Ben Cat as compassionate, respectful, and dedicated to serving society. She also hopes that heads of pagodas, monks, nuns and Buddhists will continue to promote the nation's fine traditions, strengthen the great national unity bloc, and participate in local patriotic emulation movements.
The heads of pagodas sincerely thank the city leaders for their deep concern for religious institutions. In the coming time, monks, nuns and Buddhists will continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity, well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, contributing to the overall development of Ben Cat City.
