On the occasion of Lord Buddha’s 2561st birthday, leaders of Phu Giao district’s Party Committee, People’s Committee, People’s Council and Fatherland Front Committee, on May 3, visited and presented gifts to Buddhist dignitaries at the local pagodas.
In the visiting places, leaders of the district extended best regards to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers; wished them a happy and peaceful festival celebrating Lord Buddha’s birthday while wanting that they will always live with the motto of “good life, good religion” and join hands with locals to strengthen the national unity great bloc, contributing to the local socio-economic development and national defence-security.
*On the morning of the same day, a delegation of leaders from Bau Bang district’s Party Committee, People’s Committee, People’s Council and Fatherland Front Committee also visited, presented gifts and extended congratulations to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers at Hoi Quang, Phuoc Hoi pagodas in Lai Uyen commune, Quan The Am pagoda in Cau Truong commune, Tinh Nghien, Pho Hien pagodas in Tru Van Tho commune and Linh Quang, Tu Hue pagodas in Lai Hung commune.
In the visiting places, the delegation extended congratulations to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers; recognized contributions by them to the local socio-economic development over the past time while wanting them to continue well realizing the Party and State’s policies and laws, living with the motto of “good life, good religion” and joining hands with the local government to build the national great unity bloc.
The Buddhist dignitaries also thanked leaders of the district for their attention to religious work over the past time and pledged to further mobilize Buddhist nuns, monks and followers to well fulfill the local emulation movements.
