On the morning of May 12, at Hoang Chau Parish in the Lac An Deanery of the Phu Cuong Diocese, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, attended a Thanksgiving Mass commemorating the 55th anniversary of Father Jesus Pham Quang Tong's ordination.
The Mass was officiated by Bishop Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuoc, the Bishop of Phu Cuong Diocese, alongside numerous priests from the Diocese, as well as male and female religious and hundreds of parishioners both inside and outside Hoang Chau Parish. The Mass unfolded in a solemn atmosphere, featuring complete liturgical rites and heartfelt wishes for Father Joseph and the community.
During the mass, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh, representing the provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, presented a congratulatory flower basket to Father Jesus Pham Quang Tong.
