Thuan An town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee have just held delegations to visit and present gifts to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers at 20 local pagodas on the occasion of the 2016 Vu Lan festival.
In the visiting places, leaders of the town extended best regards to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers; encouraged them to further make more contributions to social charity activities, take part in patriotic emulation movements, well realize the Party’s guidelines, the State’s policies and laws, build up the national great unity bloc while creating favorable conditions for them to practice religious activities in accordance with the law.
Representatives of Buddhist dignitaries, nuns and monks at the above pagodas also sincerely thanked leaders of the town for their attention to the local Buddhist community and pledged to mobilize Buddhist followers to live with the motto of “good life, good religion”, contributing to building up a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.
