Early September 1, leaders of Thuan An town’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held 4 delegations to visit the local pagodas on the Vu Lan festival 2017.
In the visiting places, the delegations extended best regards to Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers; wished them a happy and peaceful Vu Lan season while acknowledging their contributions to social charity activities. It is known that heads of the local pagodas have regularly mobilized Buddhist dignitaries, nuns, monks and followers to live with the motto of “good life, good religion”, contributing to well realizing the campaign of “building cultural lifestyle in residential quarters”.
Leaders of the town wanted that all local Buddhist nuns, monks and followers will continue well implementing the Party and State’s policies and laws; actively get involved in patriotic emulation movements, social charity activities…, contributing to building a more prosperous and beautiful Thuan An hometown.
