Let’s join hands to support disadvantaged students

Last academic year, Education and Training branch of Binh Duong province mobilized and organized the awarding of scholarships, textbooks, and school supplies to more than 3,500 disadvantaged students in the province.

Since the beginning of 2023, the general economic situation has faced many difficulties, many businesses have reduced their operating capacity or dissolved, causing workers to lose their jobs, working hours reduced, and take unpaid leave, workers’ lives are harder.

Besides, many students cannot afford schooling, even have to drop out of school. Although government branches, mass organizations, localities and schools have made efforts and implement solutions to help students, they have not yet met the actual needs.

Up to now, the whole province of Binh Duong has more than 7,000 poor students, of which there are still thousands of cases who cannot continue their studies. They always look forward to receiving support to continue realizing their dreams on the educational path.

Therefore, in the school year 2023-2024, Provincial Department of Education & Training continues to call on agencies, organizations and sponsors across the country to join hands to support disadvantaged students in the province with the determination "Do not let any student have to drop out of school due to difficult circumstances”

Agencies, organizations, businesses, individuals may give support in cash, scholarships, clothes, school supplies or other forms of study promotion to help children in learning.

The time to receive support is from July 15 to August 30, 2023. After receiving the support, Department of Education & Training will give directly to the students. The awarding time will take place at the beginning of the academic year 2023-2024.
