They are young people full of enthusiasm. Aside from their work, volunteer work is their joy and heart. Therefore, they join positively in charity journeys to help the poor.

To come with poor people in Lo To hamlet, Ham Can commune, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province in the end of May, these volunteers had to depart from Binh Duong at 10 p.m. Arriving in Binh Thuan, these volunteers faced a heavy rain and streets leading to Lo To hamlet was too small, so they carried equipment and gifts on their shoulders and went on foot to the hamlet. Seeing local poor people’s waiting and eager eyes, these volunteers felt happy and their tiredness seemed to disappear. Nguyen Thanh Nam, head of Lo To hamlet said “Lo To is one of poor localities of Binh Thuan province. This hamlet has 104 households with 260 people and has yet had electricity network while main water source in service for local people’s life is from springs. Most of the local residents are manual laborers”.

Phong Thi Son, 80, the Cham ethnic person said that her house is far from the commune health station, so she often buys medicines at groceries near her house. Nguyen Van Ha, 60, said “People in the hamlet are immigrants working for dragon fruit growing plantations and they are living in shortage of material and spiritual life”. Perhaps, owing to difficult circumstance, the whole of the hamlet has only one child studying at a university and the remaining children quited school right from the 6th or 7th grades. Doctor Nguyen Van Duc, director of Binh Duong provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital steered all periods of health check-up, gift offering while doctor Nguyen Van Cong of Binh Duong provincial General Hospital and doctor Le Van Quy of Eastern International Hospital were rapidly both checked health and gave healthcare consultancies for local people. They said that it was very difficult to arrive at such remote areas. Doctor Lai Ngoc Dung of Binh Duong Medicine College is both a doctor and an enthusiastic donor because he brought his medical equipment to cater for local people. Many medical tools such as blood test machine, ultrasonic machine and so on helped health check-up and treatment on that day become more convenient.
Youths grant gifts to the poor.
Apart from 150 people enjoying health check-up and gift cards, people in other hamlets also arrived at the Lo To hamlet to receive gifts and enjoy health check-up and treatment. Meanwhile, young people granted gifts including instant noodle, rice, sugar, salt, soya sauce, clothes worth nearly VND500,000 per portion to the poor. Especially, the delegation members subscribed VND5mil to grant local disabled people. The total value of gifts and medicines in this charity journey was more than VND100mil, helping local needy people reduce difficulties in life. Tran Thi Thu Loan, a positive member of 7X Sai Gon group shared “We are an open group on facebook. We lure numerous youths from Ha Noi, Hue, HCMC and our goal is to spend saving money of individuals and mobilize relatives and friends to do charity. We self practice lifestyle how to love and share with unlucky people and after every charity journey love of the group members become better and we consider the group as our big family”.
