Provincial Job Center recruits workers at Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology.
Laborers and enterprises put great trust in Binh Duong provincial Job Center, owing to bridge between two sides attached closely to program of labor linkage across provinces and cities nationwide.
Trust for the program
Without cultivation land, Nguyen Thi Le, originated from the Mekong province of Tra Vinh applied for a job at Tra Vinh provincial Job Center. 3 days later, she enjoyed a stable job at Foster Electronics Co.Ltd. in Thu Dau Mot city. She revealed that she had known about the program of job introduction from communal radio station. After 4 years of working in Binh Duong, her life is relatively stabled.
Efficiency of the program not only helps thousands of workers from other localities enjoy stable jobs in Binh Duong but assists enterprises to strengthen workforce and stabilize production. According to the provincial Job Center, many enterprises arrive at the center to seek out workforce. They include Foster Electronics Co.Ltd., Onamba Company, Kondo Company, Yazaki EDS, Co.Ltd., Wanek Funiture Co.Ltd. and more.
Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, rep of Yazaki EDS Co.Ltd. said that in the first time, our company hanged recruitment boards in front of the company gate but we could not recruit many laborers. Therefore, we arrived at the local Job Center to seek out alien workforce. In a short time, we had enough workforce.
To help enterprises recruit workforce and laborers get jobs, the provincial Job Center sets out simple regulations. The center in cooperation with other job centers holds survey visits for local leaders to learn about Binh Duong-based enterprises’ operation and allowance. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, head of job introduction division said that implementing the program of labor linkage, enterprises in Binh Duong feel secure in mind when recruiting human resources. In addition, working in Binh Duong, alien laborers enjoy supports of training on Labor Code, accommodation and traveling expenses and more. Therefore, many laborers arriving in Binh Duong seek out stable jobs.
Efficiency of linkage
In 2007, Binh Duong developed industry, attracted many investment projects, so demand on recruitment was very high. In order to solve workforce for enterprises, the provincial People’s Committee ratified Decision on linking with workforce with provinces in the 2007-2010 period in line with triangle model between enterprise – provincial job center and provinces for the sake of introducing and offering human resources for Binh Duong.
After 4 years of launching, the model contributes to lure participation of 26,837 laborers and 25 provinces. Realizing efficiency of the linkage model, the provincial People’s Committee continues to issue Decision on ratifying plan of labor linkage with provinces in the period of 2011-2015. From 2010 to the end of 2014, more than 10,000 workers from other provinces worked at local companies and factories.
Promoting efficiency of labor linkage, the provincial Job Center improves quality of linkage program through recruitment cooperation with universities, colleges inside and outside of the province.
Nguyen Phung Trung, vice director of the provincial department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs said “to lure workforce from other provinces and cities, we arrive in localities to present local policies of investment attraction and demand on manpower. After that, provinces ink agreements and the local Job Center often contacts with provinces to recruit laborers. With significant efficiency, the department will in the coming continue to carry out linkage for ensuring labor supply for local enterprises”.
