The forum of “children and prevention of injuries” was just organized by Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) at Binh Duong Provincial Children House where the participating children discussed the issues with activities of DOLISA, medical agencies, and education and training sector under the guardianship of parents regarding the skills of injury prevention while promoting children participation.

Under reports, Binh Duong eyes averagely 2,000 children injured every year. Some of the accidents were fatal, leaving tremendous grief of families.For years, medical activities taking care of the children have been taken good care of; however, the injury ratio was still very high.“Binh Duong Provincial Department of Health has coordinated with other departments to issue various measures of health precaution. Up to date, all educational facilities have been staffed with medical specialists to take care of children in educational environment,” said Medicine Doctor Huynh Thanh Ha as Deputy Director of Binh Duong Provincial Department of Health, responding to questions of what had been done to take care of the school children medically.Of current social circumstances, incidents have occurred affecting the children mentally and physically. The forum was to reflect children-related matters and responsibility of the adults. In the reality of learning, entertainment, and daily life, the children brought up the issues and gave out messages to representatives of departments and sectors for more actions.Before the forum started, the participating children and audiences had viewed a play named “Tieng vong cua nhung linh hon” (the resonance of souls) to warn about traffic and common accidents affecting the children.
