Under the plan, the bike parade will be divided into 2 phases (the first phase will start on Sept.24-25, the second phase will launch on Oct. 1-2). The bike parade will depart from the local Youth Union through Binh Duong Boulevard, Huynh Van Cu Road, August Revolution Road, April 30 Road, Yersin Road and Quang Trung Road.

After that, the parade participants will distribute leaflets to students and people at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Chu Van An, Phu Cuong secondary schools, Thu Dau Mot market, Vinatex, Citimart, Co.opmart and households along Yersin Road.
By simple deeds of garbage collection and regeneration, power thrift, environmental hygiene, promulgation on environmental protection, over the past 10 days the department cooperated with local businesses to hang 400 banners, 50 slogans across central roads to promulgate local residents.
In the coming time, the department will hold a seminar to introduce environmental treatment technology for businesses and assess situation on waste water and solid waste treatment technology and so on.
“To exchange waste for gifts”
“Exchange waste for gifts” program is to lure local people to involve in environmental protection. Nguyen Trinh Cao Son, vice head of the local Environmental Protection Bureau, said the program helps lure the participation of economic sectors, social organizations.
4,000 paper bags and gifts including environmentally friendly products sponsored by P&G Company, Dien Quang Company will be exchanged directly at Thu Dau Mot market.
The “Make the world cleaner” campaign was initiated by Australia in 1993 and launched by the United Nations throughout the world. The campaign has become one of annual international environmental events, luring volunteers and people across 130 nations.
And, the 2011 “Make the world cleaner” campaign in Binh Duong will create a big impact on local production and business for a cleaner and greener Binh Duong.
