Under the key program of the Standing Committee of Di An city’s Women's Union and the program of the "Saving Day for poor women” Capital Management Board " in 2024, the Women's Union of the city has just considered and approved loans for needy members and women, helping them develop homebased business.
Accordingly, the city’s Women's Union organized the disbursement of VND 210 million from the "Savings Day for Poor Women" program for 42 disadvantaged women and members with the interest rate of 0.55%/month, the loan amount of VND 5 million per person. Each of them makes mandatory monthly savings, equal to 1% of the loan amount, with the payback period of 12 months.
The fund is evenly distributed throughout 7 wards and is considered for loans at 43 women’s union branches.
