Under the document, the bank will provide nearly VND10 billion (US$470,000) to purchase medical equipment for three satellite hospitals and the Ninh Thuan preventive health centre expansion project.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Thai Phuong Phien, Director of Ninh Thuan General Hospital, pledged to effective use of the fund and accelerate personnel training to operate the new machines.
With the new equipment, the satellite faculties of Ninh Thuan General Hospital are expected to improve the quality of check-ups and treatments and ease the overload in central hospitals, thus contributing to reducing budgets and waiting time for patients, according to provincial authorities.
