On Jan. 21, the provincial department of Information and Communication held a summing up conference on its operation 2014 and launched orientations and tasks for 2015 with the participation of the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Vo Van Minh.
In the past year, the provincial department of Information and Communication effectively maintained the work on State management relating to field of information and communication.
Network of telecommunication, internet infrastructure and service was always in smooth situation, ensuring safety and security. In addition, agencies of mass media, television and radio in the province seriously implemented exact supply of information in service for dissemination and management of units at all levels.
Besides, the provincial department of Information and Communication set out orientations and tasks for 2015 with 7 key contents. Accordingly, the provincial department of Information and Communication will continue to perfect and submit the provincial People’s Committee to ratify 3 planning projects such as development of Binh Duong press for the period of 2009-2015 and orientation till 2020; planning on tele- technical infrastructure till 2020 and orientation to 2025 and development of publishing, printing and issuance till 2020 and vision to 2030.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister granted merit certificates to collectives of the provincial department of Information and Communication for their excellent achievements in the period of 2011-2013, contributing to the cause of socialism construction and national defense. In addition, the State President offered the third class Labor Order to 2 outstanding individuals in the period of 2009-2013.
