The province’s healthcare sector, on February 24, held a ceremony to mark the 62nd anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’ Day (February 27, 1955-February 27, 2017), in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee and physicians over periods.

At the get-together, physicians reviewed the fine tradition of the sector. The sector made efforts, actively contributing to the local cause of socio-economic development and construction. So far, the sector has basically reached stability in organization and in-depth development in terms of professional skills. Disease prevention has been implemented very closely with most national target programs on healthcare fulfilled. On this occasion, there were 1 individual awarded the “People’s physician” title; 35 individuals with the “meritorious physician” title; 1 individual with the second-class Labor Medal; 1 individual with the certificate of merit of the Prime Minister; 1 individual with the “Hai Thuong Lan Ong” award; 2 collectives and 9 individuals with the certificates of merit of the Ministry of Health; 3 collectives with the emulation banner of provincial People’s Committee; 6 collectives and 9 individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee.
