Pham Van Canh, vice secretary of the provincial party committee cum chairman of the provincial People’s Council grants gifts to poor households in quarter 7, Hiep An ward, Thu Dau Mot city.
Pham Van Canh, vice secretary of the provincial party committee cum chairman of the provincial People’s Council just participated in the national great unity festival at quarter 7, Hiep An ward, Thu Dau Mot city on the 84th anniversary of Vietnam Unification Front (Nov. 18, 1930-2014).
Over the past years, Hiep An ward effectively implemented the patriotic emulation movements, especially the mobilization of “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas”. In this year, the quarter is home to 396 households winning title of cultural family, accounting for 96.12%, 347 of which gained the title in the 3 consecutive years; 100% of lodging houses gaining title of cultural boarding house. In addition, this quarter gained and surpassed targets of fee collection of national defense and security and natural calamity control.
Addressing the festival, Pham Van Canh applauded achievements of the patriotic emulation movements done by the quarter’s people and hoped that local residents would promote this results to spur the movement of “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas”, contributing to build a prosperous homeland.
Meanwhile, Huynh Van Nhi, chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front just attended the national great unity festival at quarter 8, Tuong Binh Hiep ward, Thu Dau Mot city.
Since the start of this year, thanks to cooperation between authorities and people, the movement of “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas” in this quarter mobilized the entire people’s strength. Specifically, as many as 168 households enjoyed support loans with the total value of more than VND1.8bil from the local Bank for Social Policies; 8 local families escaped poverty; 448 out of 471 families won title of cultural household, 5 out of 5 lodging houses gained title of cultural boarding house.
Addressing the festival, Huynh Van Nhi highly evaluated achievements done by the local authority and people and also asked that local leaders and agencies should pay more attention to local people’s life, programs of learning and talent promotion as well as repayment work and more.
Nguyen Hoang Chau, head of the provincial Inspection Committee just took part in the national great unit festival at quarter 3, Chanh Phu Hoa ward, Ben Cat town.
In this year, quarter 3 now has 322 households winning title of cultural family, accounting for 92.5%. over the past years, this quarter effectively implemented many significant movements such as poverty reduction, home-based business development, national defense, civilized lifestyle and more.
Speaking at the festival, Nguyen Hoang Chau acknowledged results done by local authority and people and simultaneously asked this quarter leaders to listen to and recorded local residents’ legitimate aspirations and ideas.
On this occasion, the provincial leaders granted 10 gifts to 10 poor households in Chanh Phu Hoa ward. Besides, reps of Ben Cat town presented 3 gifts to needy families in quarter 3.
