Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee grants gifts to cultural families in Ong Dong quarter.
On the occasion of the 84th anniversary of Vietnam national unification front (Nov. 18, 1930-2014), many localities across the province held the national great unity festival. Attending the festivals held across localities were Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, people in Ong Dong quarter, Tan Uyen town, Tran Thanh Liem, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and residents in Binh Giao quarter, Thuan Giao ward, Thuan An town and Nguyen Huynh Dinh, vice chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee and people in quarter 6, Phu My ward, Thu Dau Mot city.
Implementing the 2014 mobilization of “All people unite to build a cultural life”, Ong Dong quarter in Tan Hiep ward, Tan Uyen town introduced jobs for 100 laborers. 100% of local households enjoy a comfortable life and 93% of which gain the title of cultural family.
Meanwhile, at Binh Giao quarter, Thuan Giao ward, Thuan An town, the movement of “All people unite to build a cultural life” goes into life of local people, contributing positively to excel tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security.
In the year of 2014, this quarter has 388 out of 406 families winning the title of cultural family, 5 of which get the title of typical cultural household for the 3 consecutive years; 197 out of 232 lodging houses winning the title of cultural boarding house. Especially, the quarter gains the title of cultural quarter for 3 consecutive years.
Thanks to spurring the mobilization of “All people unite to build a cultural life”, material and spiritual life and urban and civilization lifestyle of people in quarter 6, Phu My ward, Thu Dau Mot city have been improved significantly.
Until now, the entire quarter has had 341 cultural households, accounting for 95.5%. of these, as many as 60 households gain the title of cultural family for 3 consecutive years and 18 others winning typical cultural family title.
Addressing the festival held at Ong Dong quarter, Tran Van Nam, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee acknowledged this quarter’s achievements and hoped that local residents have spared no efforts to improve efficiency in breeding and farming and simultaneously steered local authorities to pay more attention to local people’s aspiration for the sake of enhancing their life.
