Before the holiday, Thu Dau Mot City has organized 29 delegations to visit and deliver Tet wishings to former leaders of the province and communes, pre-revolution officers, socially-privileged people, immigrant workers, social supporting center, religious establishments, local Party committees, security guarding, emergency and environment sanitation units in Thu Dau Mot City, for the cost of VND 409,200,000 while offering 9,349 gifts to privileged people, to 7,817 socially-privileged people, to 227 children in difficult circumstances, 59 youths pursuing military services, and 281 immigrant youths at the cost of VND 2.343 billion. As for the blind, each family received 2 to 4 gifts.
As for bonuses during Tet Holiday, through the checking, enterprises have paid out VND 3.317.000 a month as salary for January 2015 which was higher than regional minimum salary. Domestic enterprises have paid out bonuses at averagely VND 4.45 million a person while FDI enterprises offered averagely VND 3.13 million, State-own JSC VND 5 million.
