Implementing Resolutions and Instructions of all level sectors, since early this year, the local public security sector has launched the emulation movement ‘For the national security’, the mobilization ‘studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples –Policemen for country and people’ as well as cooperated with local authorities to solve strike, labor disputes at businesses.The sector has worked with military force and units to uphold general strength of order security maintenance, resulting in significant reduction of social evils and crimes. Besides, movements of self-control people, crime and drug control at grassroot level have been reinforced, gradually promoting their results.
In terms of economic security, the sector unearthed 1,051 counterfeit bank notes and solved strikes successfully. Meanwhile, public security at all levels discovered serious cases, arrested 1,208 wrongdoers, revoked assets worth more than VND1bil, confiscated 113.9157gr of heroin and so on. Moreover, the sector in cooperation with local people arrested 334 offenders, mobilized 77 quarries to gives themselves up to police and among others.
By the done achievements, as many as 305 collectives and over 1,000 policemen were honored in the past year.
