Helping the poor live, work in peace and contentment
Building “red cross” houses for the poor was seen one of significant deeds done by provincial Red Cross Society over the past time. These houses not only contributed to helping them get stable accommodations, but also expressed the “mutual affection, mutual love” spirit of the whole society for them.

Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Society said that with the “mutual affective, mutual love” spirit”, the society boosted propaganda, mobilization and received contributions from collectives and individuals in the province over the past time, thereby considering and supporting construction of houses for the poor, helping them live, work in peace and contentment.
Well realizing policies on social welfare
Over the past time, provincial Red Cross Society well upheld its spirit of solidarity, creativeness and renewal while focusing on building up a more powerful organization towards grassroots level.
The society’s social charity activities also received enthusiastic attention and support of sectors, authorities at all levels and the whole community. In the first half of 2017, the society well realized policies on social welfare. Particularly, provincial Red Cross Society presented 60,000 gifts worth more than VND25billion to needy cases under the “Tet for poor people and Agent Orange victims” program; mobilized organizations and individuals to offer help to more than 30,000 poor people, Agent Orange victims, minority ethnic people in and out of the province…
“In the coming time, provincial Red Cross Society and its branches will further improve their operational contents and forms towards grassroots level; raise authorities at all levels, officials, Party members, volunteers and people’s awareness and responsibility of their role and humanitarian task in the new context; regularly launch outstanding models in social charity activities…”, Mrs.Trinh added.
