Binh Duong University’s students help
people in remote areas.
Criteria of the 2 mobilizations of “5-good students” and “Building friendly and healthily education environment” have been concretized timely. During 3 years of implementing the “5-good students” mobilization, there were 33 students winning the provincial titles and 48 other winning the universitarian titles. The number of local students winning a scholarship fund themed “DTL-Lighting up Binh Duong students’ dreams” has increased annually. Prizes of Doan Thi Lien, Ho Van Men have contributed to honor excellent-but-poor students’ achievements.
In addition, the local students have positively joined in movements held by local Students Society. Under the society’s attention, a project of youth assistance has introduced part-time jobs and cheap price lodging houses to students and among others.
Activities of voluntary Saturday, charity doing… have been lively held by the society at all levels. A project of improving legal knowledge for youths has been really become an information channel for students.
Assessing strengths and weaknesses of the projects, the provincial Students Society chairwoman Nguyen Pham Duy Trang affirmed that the society’s movements will promise prospects in the future.
With the results done in the school year 2010-2011, the local students society will promise a solid foundation in the 2011-2012 academic year.
