Protecting laborers’ legitimate rights and interests
Over the past five years, provincial Trade Unions at al levels organized a variety of practical activities and programs, namely “Gathering in Tet holiday”, “Tet bus”, “Workers’ Month”…to take care of trade unionists and laborers. They also well made law dissemination among trade unionists and laborers.

Under the Directive No.22-CT/TW, instructions of provincial Party Committee and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on building harmonious, stable and advanced labor relations in businesses, provincial Trade Unions at all levels were proactive to coordinate with relevant agencies to step by step improve the quality of conferences for laborers, dialogues between enterprises and laborers under the law. In 2017, 715 province-based enterprises organized conferences for laborers. There were also more than 10,200 dialogues between enterprises and laborers organized. Through these dialogues, laborers’ problems were solved opportunely.
In addition, provincial Trade Unions at all levels attached special importance to enhancing the quality of negotiating, signing and realizing mass labor deals. The number of mass labor deals increased compared to early tenure. So far, there have been 1,366 enterprises setting, registering mass labor deals or 56.3% of total with better commitments for laborers.
Provincial Trade Unions at all levels also took part in overseeing the implementation of the State’s policies for laborers; food safety-hygiene, especially mass kitchens at industrial parks and compounds; the quality of meals for laborers…

Highlight from emulation movements
Over the past time, one of highlights in activities of provincial Trade Unions at all levels was the emulation movement of “Well working, creatively working”. There were more than 1,500 works, 83,050 technical innovations and initiatives from laborers under the emulation movement, bringing agencies and units tens of thousands of billion of dong in benefit.
Mrs.Hanh said the emulation movement of “Well working, creatively working” brought practical effects to agencies, units and enterprises, significantly contributing to the local socio-economic development. In the coming time, provincial Labor Union will further improve the quality and effectiveness of the emulation movement, making contributions to building up a strong Trade Union, victoriously realizing the cause of national industrialization, modernization and international integration; concretize emulation contents in association with professional tasks in each field…, thereby arousing workforce’s flexibility, ardour and creativeness to create technical initiatives bringing benefits to businesses and the community.
