On March 5, the provincial traditional medical hospital held the 224th anniversary of famous physician Le Huu Trac (1791-2015). Attending the anniversary were doctor Ngo Dung Nghia, vice director of the provincial Health Department, medical cadres through various stages and employees of the hospital.
Le Huu Trac (1720-1791) was born in Lieu Xa village, Duong Hao district, Hai Duong province but spent most of his life in Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province. He was a great physician, outstanding poet, writer, and scholar famous for his humane ideology. Le Huu Trac contributed greatly to Vietnamese traditional medicine.
On the occasion, the Ministry of Health presented awards to 2 outstanding cadres of the hospital for their significant contributions to the preservation and development of Vietnamese traditional medicine.
