In response to the World Environment Day (June 5) and to promote the proactive spirit of young people in environmental protection, on the morning of May 25, provincial Youth Unions at all levels simultaneously launched the second “Green Sunday” campaign with a series of meaningful activities aimed at spreading the message of green living throughout the community.
Accordingly, local Youth Union members actively participated in implementing various practical projects and initiatives such as launching the “New Look for Old Walls” project; organizing booths to exchange plastic waste for school supplies; conducting clean-up drives, planting trees, removing illegal advertisements and promoting the “City without waste” model. In addition, some units donated “Outdoor Fitness Equipment” projects, including exercise machines installed in parks and guided citizens on how to contribute opinions on the draft amendment of the 2013 Constitution via the VNeID application. Notably, several units also launched the 2025 “Red Phoenix Flower” and “Pink Vacation” campaigns.
After the launching ceremony, Youth Union members, students and volunteers took part in practical initiatives such as distributing eco-friendly cloth bags to local residents, cleaning up markets, planting flowers and trees...
