Currently, localities in the province are urgently implementing a "speedy" campaign on the inoculation of the 3rd shots of Covid-19 vaccine for people. They have mobilized all forces to complete the injection plan by March 20.
Mobilizing all forces
Through surveys of localities, many cases with temporary residence, especially workers during the social distancing period for Covid-19 prevention and control returned their hometowns. When coming back to Binh Duong for working, many people, especially workers have not completed the 3rd shots of Covid-19 vaccine as recommended by the health authorities, due to not being able to arrange the time for the injection. Understanding this fact, provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has asked for localities to increase their proactiveness in injecting 3rd doses of Covid-19 vaccine for people by organizing vaccination sites in each residential area, even organizing injections at night and on holidays to create favorable conditions for people and workers to get vaccinated against the pandemic.

According to provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, in the "new normal" state with safe, flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 pandemic, the situation of the pandemic in the province is still under control. However, in recent days, in addition to the Delta variant, the appearance of the Omicron variant has caused the number of infections in the community to increase. According to the assessment, the reason is partly from people’s subjectiveness and neglect in maintaining the "5K" message as recommended by the Ministry of Health. The health sector recommends that along with vaccination, people need to strictly follow regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control, continue following the "5K" message of the Ministry of Health even though getting vaccinated against the pandemic, thereby helping protect the health of ourselves, our families and the community.
“International research shows that the mortality rate is reduced to almost zero in people who received 3 doses of Covid-19 vaccine when being infected with the pandemic. Accordingly, people who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 are 97 times more likely to die than those who have received a booster dose of vaccine.
