Looking forward to the Ripe Fruit Season Festival

 Following the success of previous festival seasons, this year's Ripe Fruit Season Festival is hosted by Binh Duong province with many interesting activities that many people are waiting for. People look forward to the opening day of the festival to participate and work together to create a good impression in everyone's hearts. Those who love exploration, travel experiences or are passionate about creating art also wait for this day to save beautiful moments in specialty orchards, in activities taking place throughout the festival.

Many people are interested in activities during last year's festival season

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Linh, owner of Be Hai restaurant (Hung Dinh ward), said that every year at the end of March and early April, she receives many calls asking if there are old bamboo shoots for salad, and then placing an order before coming to the restaurant or ordering dishes shipped to their home and enjoy. The joy and expectations from familiar and unknown diners this season constantly call, thus Ms. Linh, even though she is older, diligently takes care of the ingredients and spices to create delicious unique garden dishes of Cau Ngang. Since the Ripe Fruit Season Festival, the joy of the people in the Cau Ngang area has increased, many tourists from near and far have had the opportunity to return to these green gardens and participate in many interesting activities of the festival.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Hoang Tien, who lives in An My hamlet, An Son commune, said that until now he still keeps beautiful and happy memories of the Ripe Fruit Season Festival held in An Son commune in 2012. A large number of women inside and outside the commune took part in the festival with many activities. The most impressive thing was that many people participated in making fruit salad on the side of dikes, which was very romantic. Mr. Tien's family also contributed to renting the garden for the women to compete in picking mangosteen, hence his garden at that time was very bustling and jubilant. Therefore, he is very excited as waiting for the opening day of this year festival and hopes that the festival activities will have more meaningful activities that can promote the local fruit brand, calling on many people to join hands in building and preserving beautiful images of the festival culture in Binh Duong.

Young people like Nguyen Thi Tieu Ha, Secretary of An Thanh Ward;s Youth Union, are looking forward to the day of the festival. This year's festival continues to hold a cross-country running named "Road of ripe fruit season", so the Ward Youth Union really wants to contribute to this activity. Besides participating in the running race, the Ward Youth Union assigned teams to provide drinking water to the athletes running through routes of Thanh Phu and Thanh Quy neighborhoods. “Hopefully the festival will have more new and unique things, and more activities for young people, such as having more small startup booths for union members and young people to introduce to handmade products of skill clubs, using money collected from booths to buy gifts for children having difficult circumstances.

Looking forward to the day of experience

As a person who loves experiential travel, Nguyen Thi Hai in Thu Dau Mot City is also awaiting for this year's Ripe Fruit Season Festival. After learning information about festival activities, she said she would arrange time to join activities within the festival such as: fruit fair and culinary - tourism festival, beautiful ripe fruit season photo contest and beautiful Binh Duong tourism photo exhibition. She herself once visited the Southern Folk Cake Festival and saw that they did it very methodically and on a large scale, thus she hopes that this year's Ripe Fruit Season Festival of Binh Duong would have rich and special things, especially activities focusing on the theme "Ripe fruit season" to meet the experience needs of visitors.

Photographer songwriter Tran Tinh said that it is his honor to live in Binh Duong, a land with many green orchards and famous fruits. Almost every year when the fruit is ripe, he writes songs. Together with friends from other localities and photography members in the province, he will write songs to capture beautiful moments and contribute to introducing the gardens and fruits of Lai Thieu as well as many other delicious fruits in the province to all people. He said, this is also an opportunity for people to have a short trip. In addition to bringing his family here to experience, he will also introduce his friends to visit and enjoy.

With rich and diverse activities, the 2024 Ripe Fruit Season Festival promises to bring visitors inside and outside the province interesting experiences about local specialty orchards. Through the festival, visitors will feel the culture, friendliness, enthusiasm, hospitality as well as the image of Binh Duong people who are affectionate, dynamic, talented, open, respectful and creative.
