In 2017, arts of the province continued with prominent achievements from provincial to regional, and national level under hosting of Binh Duong Province.
One of the prominent event of the year was Tai Tu Music Festival 2017 in Binh Duong Province, secondly organized in the nation. This time’s festival, Binh Duong impressed neighboring localities and visitors by series of successful and impressive activities and the gold medal of the team. For individuals, Binh Duong had 2 winners of gold including Thu Hong and Ngoc Kieu Oanh.

For the year, the provincial Association of Literature and Arts coordinated with Vietnamese Association of Photographers to organize festival of photography in the Southeastern region for the 25th time with attendance of 223 authors submitting 1,626 photographs of the region. The art council chose 163 works including 28 works of 17 authors in Binh Duong to be exhibited at the exhibition round. Binh Duong was second after Dong Nai in the festival. This is a breakthrough of local photographers of the association. Tran Duy Tinh, Tran Cong, Bui Viet Hung were again listed among others in the awarding figures of the region.
As for literature, bright outcomes have emerged under general evaluation of music, photography, staging, and arts. The association has organized writing contest to encourage new works and discovery of new figures of literature composition. 143 works including short stories and poems of 42 authors have been present at the contest. The association also organized online page of poems of Binh Duong to be maintained by club of literature and poetry in Binh Duong. The members of Association of Folk Literature has researched and collect new writing articles to greatly contribute to the maintaining and preserving of local culture traits.
According to music composer Vo Dong Dien, the Chairman of Association of Literature and Arts, the composition camps and professional courses have been maintained periodically to attract enthusiasts who would eventually contribute to the field of development of literature and arts of the province.
