Regarding urban rejuvenation to welcome the Lunar New Year, the Divisions of Culture and Information of districts, towns and TDM city have strengthened inspection work and given strict administrative punishments for illegal advertising cases. On main streets, they have also given priority to installing posters with propaganda contents on political events, Tet and great holidays.
The province’s urban rejuvenation for the Tet holiday has also focused on cleaning streets, tending green trees, upgrading lighting systems, collecting waste…Lam Van Hung, Deputy Director of Binh Duong Urban Work One-member Co.Ltd. said that the company has implemented plans on environmental hygiene, keeping streets clean and nice to welcome Tet.
Along with maintaining sanitary work as planned, the company has increased sanitary squads working from 4am to 6pm daily. The company has also cleared rubbish dumps at TDM market, six-way crossroads, on streets Doan Tran Nghiep, Nguyen Thai Hoc, Tru Van Tho, Quang Trung, Le Loi....; planned to upgrade rubbish bins, plant and tend green trees, repair lighting systems to serve locals’ demand for traveling.
The company is concentrating on installing lighting systems, making floral decoration in inner areas of TDM city. The company has always ensured waste collection on 70 streets and in areas around markets in the city. Also during the Tet holiday, the company will replace hundreds of decorative light bulbs, thousands of various flower baskets with new ones; grow additional kinds of plants in areas around the city.
Especially, the company will strengthen waste collection at TDM market on Dec.29 of lunar calendar and attach special importance to urban rejuvenation with highlights at six-way crossroads, Mui Dui, Go Dau crossroads, streets like CMT8, Yersin…
