Man awarded for providing information to denounce wanted subject

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phuong Vinh, Deputy Chief of Phu Giao district’s Police Agency has just presented an unexpected award from the district’s People's Committee Chairman to Vu Ngoc Khang living in Phu Giao district’s Vinh Hoa commune, for his outstanding achievements in fighting and denouncing crimes, contributing to ensuring the local security and order (photo).

Earlier, Phu Giao district’s Police Agency received information from Mr. Khang about the discovery of a suspicious person with the same identification characteristics as the wanted subject. With professional measures, the local police quickly verified that the source of information provided by the man was accurate. The suspect is A Thanh (born 2001, from Kom Tum) who is being wanted by the police of Kom Tum province’s Sa Thay district for "destroying property".

And then, the local police deployed forces to successfully round up A Thanh and handed him over to Sa Thay district’s police for handling in accordance with the law.
