Management and organization of the January Full Moon Festival in 2025 summed up

On the afternoon of March 20, Thu Dau Mot city convened a conference to review the management and organization of the January Full Moon Festival in 2025.

According to the evaluation by the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot city, this year, volunteer activities continue to evolve into significant movements that are widely disseminated and embraced. Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with mass organizations throughout the city, localities, and neighborhoods, is actively engaged in volunteer initiatives aimed at serving residents and visitors to the pagodas and Ba Temple in the region.

The festival organizing committee consistently conducts inspections of activities related to the festival. The initiatives of the Motorbike Taxi Team for a Civilized City and the Motorbike Taxi Union remain effective, thereby promoting and showcasing the city's tourist attractions and distinctive features to visitors from both near and far. The authorities are tasked with and successfully execute the responsibilities of protection, security, order, environmental sanitation, and food safety and hygiene within the festival area.

From New Year's Eve to the 15th day of the first lunar month, the estimated number of visitors to places of worship in the city is approximately 266,000.

On the same afternoon, the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City convened a meeting to recognize 132 groups and 116 individuals who have significantly contributed to volunteer efforts in celebration of the 2025 Lunar New Year Festival.
