Tan Phuoc Khanh townlet has become one of the model organizations in gathering young factory workers in Tan Uyen District.
Holding a key role, local Youth’s League has made great achievements in promoting the care for spiritual life of young factory workers through movements of “public unity in building up cultural life in residential areas”.
Starting from association of hostels
Tan Phuoc Khanh is a locality of dense young factory worker population, requiring efforts of gathering them. Of the work, the establishment of associations of hostels was considered as preliminary act of the activities with the model of ‘Uoc mo xanh’ (the younger dream) club at Khanh Hoi Quarter.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Luyen, a member to the club said: “It’s a lot of fun to join the club. Every week we are offered free newspaper and discussion about various topics. The hostel owners have taken good care by offering best conditions for us in life and holidays.”
Ms. Huynh Le Thu, Head of the club informed that the care of the association was of much encouragement to the boarding factoring workers who were majorly from faraway homeland and leading life of hardship. She, as the owner and club head, was the one who has known much about their feelings and been doing what was needed to assure them and encourage them to stay.
To weekend playground
Weekend playground has been one of the models attractive to young factory workers that attended.
By September 21, Tan Phuoc Khanh Townlet Youth’s League shall coordinate with Labor Union of My Tu Textile Corporation and Office of Young People Development and Support to organize weekend playground and introduce Young Factory Worker sub-association at Cultural Center of the townlet.
The activities shall be promising to bring up joy to young factory workers. The weekend playground usually starts from 17:00 with plenty of sports and games including the ‘giant slipper game’.
After the games, local Youth’s League is expected to hold a ceremony to establish 3 sub-associations under My Tu Textile Corporation and offer 14 gift packages to young factory workers in difficult circumstances.
This time’s weekend playground should be more hustle with art exchanging program attracting majority of local young people.
Besides, the audience shall have chance to join on-stage games to win over 30 attractive gift packages.
Evaluating the regular activities, Mr. Do Thanh Vu, Secretary of Tan Phuoc Khanh Townlet Youth’s League informed that the program has been very meaningful to connect young factory workers with the associations and the league while confirming the joint contribution of the society in gathering the youths.
