On May 18, on the occasion of the 124th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2014), Thu Dau Mot city-based Phu Tho ward party committee, People’s Committee launched the tree planting ceremony with the participation of nearly 100 local cadres, party members and party cells. Also the same day, Phu Tho ward party committee, People’s Committee held a summing up and award ceremony of wall newspaper contest marking Uncle Ho’s birthday anniversary. As a result, Phu Tho ward party committee, People’s Committee granted the first prize to Phu Tho 1 primary school’s party cell, donated 2 second prizes, 3 third ones and 11 consolidation ones to other party cells.
Earlier, Phu Tho ward party committee, People’s Committee held the contest on telling stories about Uncle Ho. The contest included approximate 40 stories of Uncle Ho told by lively and simple words of contestants.
In addition, Phu Tho ward party committee, People’s Committee organized a presentation contest on Uncle Ho with the attendance of many competitors.
Chanh Nghia ward party committee on May 18 held the Green Sunday campaign on the occasion of the 124th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.
Numerous cadres, party members of 22 party cells under the ward party committee along with local mass bodies took part in cleaning streets, schools and dredging canals.
