In the evening of Jan. 14, at Thuan An Timber Processing JSC, Vietnam Rubber Corporation’s Labor Union held a program named “Warm Spring” for laborers of rubber industry in a bid to create a healthy playground for immigrant workers who can not afford to come back their homeland for Tet. On the occasion, Vietnam Rubber Corporation’s Labor Union granted 180 gifts worth VND240mil to poor rubber laborers.
Thien Hoa Electronics supermarket in Binh Duong in cooperation with Thuan Giao ward People’s Committee in Thuan An town just held a Tet gift program for local poor people. The supermarket granted 200 gifts each worth VND500,000 to local needy households.
Tan Uyen district’s Thai Hoa township People’s Committee just handed over a gratitude house to Nguyen Van Dieu, father of martyr Nguyen Van Cot. The house is worth of VND120mil, VND60mil of which is from the provincial budget and the rest from his family.
On Jan 13, Thuan An town Red Cross and Thien Hoa Charity Team held the 2nd founding anniversary of Thuan An Hospital’s Charity Kitchen and granted 500 Tet gifts to the poor.
On Jan. 14, Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park JSC cooperated with Khanh Binh communal youth union organized a festive night for immigrant workers staying for Tet. The company and the youth union granted 125 gifts to poor immigrant laborers and held a lucky draw with valued prizes such as motorbikes, TV set, bikes, fans and so on.
The VND50mil prizes were funded by the company.
