PPC issued plans to organize the Action Month for Older persons of Binh Duong province 2015. The action month with the theme “Action Month for Older persons having exceptionally difficult circumstances” will take place from Oct 1st to 31st 2015.
Accordingly, Associations of the Elderly in the province mobilize resources to improve disadvantaged older people’s life, old policy beneficiaries, older people in poor areas, ethnic minority areas; coordinate with medical sector to give free health check-up to the elderly, implement the “Bright eyes for the elderly”; organize cultural, sport activities to improve spiritual life for the elderly; established clubs helping each other in districts, towns and city; establish “Caring fund”, promote the role of the elderly in communes, wards and towns...
The above activities aim to encourage all levels, sectors, organizations and individuals to take part in the National Action Program for Older persons in the 2012-2020; promote the tradition of "drinking water, remember its source", filial piety; encourage older persons to participate in economic development, social activities.
