The national month of actions for demography (December) and the anniversary of December 26 - Vietnamese Demography Day 2020 have been themed as ‘demography improvements contribute to fast and sustainable development of the nation’.
In response, Binh Duong provincial Department of Population and Family Planning instructed the health centers of districts, towns and cities in the area to organize communication activities with content and activities suitable to their needs and realistic local images. The contents of the propaganda in the month of actions are focused on posting propaganda banners on reforms of demographic activities and development.
Concurrently, localities have focused on propagating the results of demographic activities in recent years, the significance of the month of actions. The replication of models, schemes and plans on demographic activities, the benefits, meaning of counseling and pre-marriage health check-ups, the benefits and implications of antenatal screening and newborn screening, and the communication activities for the elderly have been in place.
