According to the province’s functional agencies, the 2011 traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) bonuses for workers at province-based companies are higher than previous years. Vo Thi Thanh Huong, Chairwoman of Thuan An district’s Labor Union said: “So far, most of the district-based companies have declared Tet bonus and salary increase plans under the new regulation…”. Some local companies, namely Huu Toan, Tran Duc, Toan Cau, Hoan My…, have planned to provide free transport services for workers to return home for Tet. Many other companies have also made plans to organize year-end parties for workers, aiming to bring them a comfortable and joyful atmosphere before enjoying the Tet holiday.

The majority of them will reward their employees one month’s salary on the Tet occasion.
