Timely visit and encouragement
Early January 8, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, visited and offered Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families in Thuan An city. Accompanying him was Pham Trong Nhan, Secretary of provincial Labor Union’s Party Committee and Chairman of provincial Labor Union.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to three policy beneficiary families in An Son commune, including the family of Tran Thi Tu (born in 1940, heroic Vietnamese mother), Ho Hong Chau (born in 1948, war invalid) and Dao Thi Suong (born in 1932, revolutionary contributor) as well as two policy beneficiary families in Hung Dinh ward.
In each visiting place, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Ha warmly inquired about the health and living conditions of the families, expressed deep gratitude and appreciation towards heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the Armed Forces, war invalids, martyrs' families and revolutionary contributors who bravely fought and sacrificed their blood to protect national independence and reunification. He expressed his joy in seeing these families uphold their glorious traditions, striving to overcome difficulties and building up a prosperous and happy life. He also hoped that these families would further promote revolutionary traditions, serve as shining examples and encourage their descendants to comply with the Party's guidelines, the State's laws and local regulations, contributing to the ongoing renewal and development of their homeland.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 30 gift packages to poor households, 20 gift packages to children with difficult circumstances in Hung Dinh ward and An Son commune and 50 gift packages to migrant workers facing hardships in Thuan An city.
On the morning of the same day, the delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to the 25th Mobile Police Regiment. Mr. Ha inquired about the living conditions of the officers and soldiers, praised the efforts by the unit in maintaining security and order in the area over the past time and urged the unit to continue promoting the good traditions of the sector, overcoming difficulties, challenges and successfully completing its mission to ensure security and order, contributing to a peaceful and happy life for the people.
Spreading “Tet of kindness”
In Bau Bang district, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission visited and donated gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, children and migrant workers facing difficulties in the district.
Accordingly, the delegation attended the 2025 "Tet of kindness" program and awarded scholarships to disadvantaged students for the 2024-2025 school year. At the event, provincial Red Cross Society presented support for the "Tet of kindness"program for the district, with a total value of VND 200 million. The delegation visited 5 policy beneficiary families in Lai Uyen township, distributed gifts to poor households, children with particularly difficult circumstances and migrant workers facing hardships in Lai Uyen township. On this occasion, the delegation also visited the 6th Infantry Regiment of provincial Military Command.
*Also on the morning of January 8, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Propaganda-Education Commission visited and offered Tet gifts in North Tan Uyen district. At Thuong Tan commune’s Community Learning Center, the delegation presented Tet gifts to 30 poor households in Thuong Tan and Lac An communes as well as gifts to children with particularly difficult circumstances and migrant workers facing hardships. The delegation also visited and offered gifts to 5 policy beneficiary families living in Thuong Tan commune.
Also on the morning of the same day, North Tan Uyen district’s Red Cross Society held the 2025 "Tet of kindness” program and awarded scholarships to disadvantaged students at the district‘s Political Center. During the program, the district's Red Cross presented 100 Tet gift packages worth VND 1.5 million each to poor households, families with particularly difficult circumstances, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, disabled individuals, the blind as well as 20 scholarships worth VND5.5 million each to poor-but- excellent students, with a total value of VND260 million. It is known that the funding for the gifts in the program was supported by provincial Red Cross Society with VND 200 million, with the remaining amount raised by the district.
*In Dau Tieng district, a delegation of provincial leaders, led by Nguyen Minh Thuy, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission visited and offered gifts to the local policy beneficiary families, poor households, children with difficult circumstances and migrant workers on the occasion of the 2025 Tet festival.
Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of martyrs Truong Van Tien in Thanh An commune and Hong Chi Tai in Long Tan commune who died while performing their duties during a defensive combat exercise of the Military Region 7 in Dong Nai province. The delegation also visited, gave gifts and encouraged the soldiers of the Brigade 23’s Company 4 under the Military Region 7, who are on duty at Cau mountain in Dinh Thanh commune.
In addition to the aforementioned families and units, the delegation also visited and offered gifts to policy beneficiary families, households with difficult circumstances, migrant workers and awarded 20 scholarships to disadvantaged students in Dau Tieng district.
*In Phu Giao district, Nguyen Chi Trung, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, along with leaders of the district, visited and offered gifts to policy beneficiary families, families with revolutionary contributions, poor households, children with particularly difficult circumstances and migrant workers in Tan Hiep commune on the occasion of the 2025 Tet festival. On this occasion, Phu Giao district’s Labor Union also mobilized donors to offer 50 gift packages to migrant workers facing particularly difficult circumstances.
On January 8, provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with several localities, organized the "Tet of kindness" program, presenting gifts and scholarships to disadvantaged people and students in the districts and cities. Accordingly, provincial Red Cross Society donated 400 "Tet of kindness" gift packages and 80 scholarships (100 gift packages and 20 scholarships per locality). Each Tet gift package was worth VND 1 million and each scholarship was worth VND 1 million. In addition to the support from provincial Red Cross Society, the Red Cross Societies of the districts and cities also mobilized additional gifts worth VND 450,000-VND 900,000 for each disadvantaged person and student. The total value of the programs was nearly VND 1.1 billion, including VND 800 million funded by provincial Red Cross Society.
