On the morning of March 7, the Provincial Military Command held a meeting to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8), 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, and the 31st anniversary of Military Women and Military Women's Committee.
At the meeting, the Provincial Military Women's Union reviewed the traditions of International Women's Day, Vietnamese women and traditions of Provincial Military Women's Association; reported on outstanding achievements in performing tasks and building the association.
l On the same morning, the Provincial Trade Union of Public Employees organized activities to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8), International Day of Happiness (March 20) and respond to Ao Dai Week.
The organizing committee award first, second, and third prizes to pairs of contestants in the Ao Dai performance competition.
At the celebration, delegates offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Phu Loi Prison Historical Site (Thu Dau Mot City); looked back on the history of International Women's Day... Along with that, the Provincial Trade Union of Public Employees also held a competition to design handmade products from zinc velvet and perform Ao Dai costumes. At the end, the first prize for designing handmade products from zinc velvet went to Trade Union of Provincial Public Employees’ Protection and Health Care Committee; the first prize of Ao Dai performance competition went to Trade Union of Provincial People's Court.
