In order to cater for local people’s art enjoyment, since the start of this year the provincial Mobile Propaganda and Cinema Team in cooperation with localities held more than 136 music shows and film screening sessions, attracting more than 20,000 audiences. The provincial traditional music troupe organized 70 performances and implemented many exchange performances between the troupe and Bien Xanh Theatre of Binh Thuan province.
The art troupes joined in many national art contests and festivals. As a result, they won high results including 2 gold medals at the 2014 national mobile propaganda festival held at the Northern province of Dien Bien, 2 gold and 2 silver ones at the 2-14 Southeastern Singing Festival held at Lam Dong province, 2 gold and 1 silver ones at the 1st national Don Ca Tai Tu festival 2014.
In addition, the provincial department of Culture, Sport and Tourism held successfully the 2014 Binh Duong provincial public art performance festival and 3rd Binh Duong Fine Art and Photography Exhibition 2014.
