Many benefactors give gifts, face masks to lottery ticket sellers, poor workers

 Provincial Youth Activity Center in collaboration with Binh An Ward Youth Union (Di An City) visited and presented gifts to lottery ticket sellers having difficult circumstance in the district during the peak of Covid-19 pandemic.

Accordingly, representatives of the center and Youth Union went to each lodging room to give gifts to 19 lottery ticket sellers; each gift included essential necessities such as instant noodle, soy sauce, cooking oil...

* On 5 April, Red Cross of Tan Binh Ward, Di An City gave free face masks and gifts to disadvantaged people in the ward.

The Red Cross presented 590 face masks and 70 gifts. In addition, the Red Cross also presented essential necessities to 29 cases of poor and near-poor households. This activity promoted its role in social work, proved humanity and mutual affection among the community, share difficulties with disadvantaged people under the influence of Covid-19.

Bau Bang District Youth Union held a youth program to support young workers, poor workers to overcome difficulties caused by Covid-19.

At this program, 300 gifts, each worth VND250,000 including instant noodles, sugar, milk, MSG, cooking oil, eggs, rice, were given to workers in lodging houses, vulnerable lottery ticket sellers. The total expense was VND75 million, including VND50 million contributed by the investor of Loc Phat housing area, and VND25 million contributed by Youth Union officials and benefactors.

* Women' Union of Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City, presented gifts to poor people affected by the Covid-19.

The Women' Union called for contributions and then gave 100 gifts and 300 face masks to poor workers, each worth VND110,000, including instant noodle, rice, face masks, total cost was VND11 million. The Women' Union hoped that donors would continue to support and share difficulties with disadvantaged circumstances, such as lottery ticket sellers, workers losing jobs... during this epidemic season.
